LoRa / LoRaWAN Modbus Receiver LoRa - RS485 & RS232 Interfaces
You might have tried using Wireless Sensors in the past to find out that they don't work 100% of the time. Just take a look at what other Niagara 4 BMS Engineers had to say about them in this post here.
Issues like short battery life involve extra site visits. And unplanned visits can be costly when they come out of your own pocket.
Another costly and time-consuming problem is the loss of signal. Configuring the sensors to avoid concrete walls involves many labour hours.
So you will be happy to learn that you can install these sensors without ever worrying about the battery life and the loss of signal.
This Enless Wireless LoRa receiver is compatible with PLCs with an RS485 or an RS232 Modbus RTU interface.
The Modbus receiver is used to collect data from our LoRa transmitters (Enless sensors only).
The LoRa Modbus receiver can handle up to 32 transmitters.
The transmitter information is stored in the receiver Modbus table. The PLC can then read the registers of the receiver to retrieve the data. It is also possible to write to the Modbus table of the receiver to re-configure already installed transmitters and add new ones.
The receiver is powered externally (either directly via the PLC power supply or via a power supply unit).
This product is LoRa compatible (not LoRaWAN). It allows you to build a radio private LoRa Enless Wireless mode.
