LoRa / LoRaWAN Pulse Meter Transmitter - ATEX Approved (Gas)

SKU 600-037

You might have tried using Wireless Sensors in the past to find out that they don't work 100% of the time. Just take a look at what other Niagara 4 BMS Engineers had to say about them in this post here.

Issues like short battery life involve extra site visits. And unplanned visits can be costly when they come out of your own pocket.

Another costly and time-consuming problem is the loss of signal. Configuring the sensors to avoid concrete walls involves many labour hours.

So you will be happy to learn that you can install these sensors without ever worrying about the battery life and the loss of signal.

This LoRa / LoRaWAN pulse transmitter has been specially designed for pulse counting applications on gas meters with a dry contact interface or an open collector inlet.

ATEX approved (Explosives Atmospheres), this transmitter allows the remote reading of the data from the gas meter to which it is connected without any manual intervention.  In other words, this transmitter will quickly and economically transform your conventional gas meter into a smart meter.

Continuous monitoring of your gas consumption will allow you to:

  • drive your gas consumption
  • monitor your equipment¬†and detect leaks
  • prevent over-consumption

Optimising management of your consumption will allow you to achieve significant cost savings regardless of the size of your company and sector of activity.

This LoRa / LoRaWAN product incorporates high-performance D-type battery and gives the Enless transmitter a very high autonomy of up to 15 years.

An ATEX Binder interface cable can be connected to this transmitter for easy implementation. See Accessories.

This product is LoRa/ LoRaWAN compatible. It allows you to build an operated or private network. In LoRaWAN public mode, high-precision data is retrieved through the transmitter and sent to the LoRa network operator cloud at a flexible frequency. In LoRa Enless Wireless private mode, the data is transmitted over the radio to our Modbus receiver, which is usually connected to a gateway. In LoRaWAN’s private mode, the data flows directly from our transmitters to the gateway.

High and low data thresholds can be viewed via the supervision system in place which also allows the configuration of alerts.
